To keep our campus community safe, all staff and students are encouraged to get the COVID-19 vaccine. It is our top priority to give you a safe and healthy in-person learning experience.
Olds College sent out a survey to students regarding COVID-19 vaccinations and returning to campus in September. Out of 400 responses thus far, 60 per cent of students have already received their first dose of vaccinations. Just above seven per cent of students have received both doses of the vaccine. Seventy-one per cent of students returning this fall plan on being vaccinated by the end of August.
Registered Olds College students who receive their first dose of COVID-19 vaccine before August 8, 2021 are eligible to win one of three amazing prize packs. This is your Shot to win big!

Grand Prize Vacation Package: We can finally travel again! This grand prize package features a $1,000 WestJet gift card, along with Olds College sunglasses, travel mug and journal to capture all of your vacation memories.
Backyard BBQ Bash package: Get $100 giftcard to the Olds College retail meat store & Brewery, along with an Olds College BBQ tool set and apron.

There will be seven (7) prize packages available to be won: the Grand Prize, will consist of: one (1) $1,000 WestJet gift card along with a pair of Olds College sunglasses, a travel mug and journal; the Backyard BBQ Bash package with one (1) $100 gift card to the Olds College Retail Meat Store and the Olds College Brewery, along with an Olds College BBQ tool set and apron; and the other five prizes are identical including one (1) $100 Boston Pizza gift card (see full rules for approximate retail value). Prizes will be drawn on September 10, 2021 at 2 p.m. MST. Skill testing question required. Contest is open to all legal residents of Canada who are eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of entry, except employees, representatives or agents (and those with whom such persons are domiciled) of Olds College (the “Sponsor”). Contest entrants must be enrolled at Olds College for the Fall 2021 term. Odds of winning will depend on the number of eligible entries received before the Contest closes.
