Olds College and TELUS Agriculture are celebrating one full year of partnership!

Since investing $1 million in the Olds College Smart Farm one year ago, TELUS Agriculture has been collaborating with the College to develop and accelerate agriculture technology while supporting the next generation of agriculture talent — Olds College students.

The commercial-scale size of the Smart Farm (2,800 acres) allows TELUS Agriculture to develop, scale and demonstrate solutions that will support growers to achieve better yields and profitability as well as drive the sustainable production of food. Through key partnerships, the Smart Farm also offers students hands-on experience with emerging technologies, data compilation and farm infrastructure so they are better prepared to deal with the challenges and opportunities facing agriculture today and in the future.
