The continued growth of the Smart Agriculture Ecosystem and applied research activities on the Olds College Smart Farm launched the College into the top five this year.
The Olds College Smart Ag Ecosystem is accelerating the progress and innovation needed to grow Canada’s ag industry — and the Olds College Smart Farm is at the heart of it all.
Olds College of Agriculture & Technology is located in the traditional territories of the Niitsitapi (Blackfoot) and the people of the Treaty 7 region in Southern Alberta, which includes the Siksika, the Piikani, the Kainai, the Tsuut’ina and the Stoney Nakoda First Nations. The area is also home to Métis Nation of Alberta, Region III.
